Hoping this can get through.
Currently, only one on the market, and the last time that was traded was over 2 months ago.
The current owners original trade: http://puu.sh/meSai/571f610a85.png
Sale 1:
Sold for 20 Keys pure + sweets.
Proof: http://puu.sh/meS0s/d8d92b1b7a.png
Adding that all up is a pain, but it rounds up to 26 keys.
Seller of the Festivizer had a B/O of 25 keys.
Proof: http://puu.sh/meStS/7608bda266.png
Sale 1 = 25 Keys
Sale 2:
Sold for 22.49 Keys in items, rounding to 22.5.
Proof: http://puu.sh/mcNi2/1d6127b666.png
Adding overpay, this offer comes to 25 Keys.
Sale 2 = 25 Keys
Hope this is correct.
This is the one that you mentioned was the only one on market, owned by Pig that says Bolegda: http://backpack.tf/item/201733602
Comparing histories, it would seem as though he bought it for 30 keys. A NnB Toy Tailor and an Australium Minigun.
Buyer's BP comparison: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198054637442?time=1445151600&compare=1444978800
The history of the hat doesn't show in bp.tf's item history, due to the seller selling it in such a short time after receiving it, but the history shows on outpost going to HellsGate before going to Pig that says Bolegda.
HellsGate's BP: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198198382219?time=1445151600&compare=1445065200
BTW this proof is on the edge of becoming outdated, by hitting the 3 month mark, but even after applying overpay, this sale would come out to be 30 keys.
Can't find the sale from history comparisons for The Might Bob -> HellsGate, so guess that this is the only other piece of evidence that's usable.
Your proof of 25 is ample, with the prior B/Os, but this sale is still in the current range of 30, and is still valid to use, so if anything, I would recommend resuggesting with a range of 25-30.
That is good to know what it sold for, but unless something has changed within the rules over the years on backpack.tf, then you can't use sales that are over 2 months old to help price a suggestion. As I showed in a screenshot, Pig that says Bolegda opened a trade with the Festivizer in it nearly 3 months ago.
After looking through the unusual price suggestion guide, it is specified that anything older than a month is often hard to use. If I were to re-suggest at 25 - 30 keys as well, the suggestion would most likely not be let through till after that sale is beyond 3 months old. That sale just seems too old to use.
The sale only becomes unusable once it aged to 3 months old, IIRC. The date of when the trade was opened doesn't matter, as the actual trade still took place on October 18, about 2.5 months ago, thus, it is still valid, again, if my memory serves me.
Interesting. Whenever I've suggested items, usually sales before 3 months was indeed usable in setting a range, but probably because the unusuals that I have done were rarer, 1-off hats that weren't commonly sold, and I guess due to the sheer number of these that exist probably changes that rule when suggesting a price.
I would still stick to my judgement about this, though, that a range is probably needed. If a moderator chooses to take this sale as part evidence or just go with the more recent sales and with this suggestion, that's up to them and their disclosure on the matter.
Oh and just to mention, idk if your screenshot on the guy who set his b/o at 25 is necessarily important to this suggestion. He doesn't seem too sure of himself setting a b/o at 25, and I'm sure that pure + sweets sale is enough to prove that sale was 25 keys, just by rounding a bit down due to application of overpay, to keep the suggestion cleaner. Again, not like it matters, doesn't hurt either, but thought I'd mention...
Again, though, like I said, this is up to the discretion of a moderator who sees this suggestion. If he asks for anything different from this suggestion, I'm sure you know what to do ;)
Yes, I believe waiting to see a moderator's judgement on this would be a good course of action. As for the screenshot of the 25 key b/o, I thought it necessary to show in some way that ohErmin was selling at 25 keys (after selling he took the requested b/o price off of his trade on Outpost).
So it's generally 2 months unless sales are so uncommon that you need to go back to 3 months to find more sales. Especially now that the suggestion is so old, going with the pure sales is going to be better.
