Prices ranges from 2-3 Ref now and at this day, most hats range from 2 ref to above very little are to be seen so cheap plus 2-3 Ref would be more suitable for the sellers and the buyers who never gets to buy due to offering too cheap
This doesn't make sense at all.
Who told you that it ranges from 2-3 ref?
And most hats are, you know, craft hats, 1.44 ref, not even above 2 ref.
Prove that 2-3 ref is suitable. Where does 3 ref even come from?

Well you could provide proof for him, not tell him off when you have what could make his suggestion pass. While this may encourage laziness, the price he suggested could fit.
Right now it's 1 sale about 2 days ago, that's at least 10 pages down my trade history.
So a long search, for little proof.
If I make a suggestion I try to have at least 2 sales for the high end.
So I would be making a big effort and it may very well still get declined,
because he may need to have a low end. (OP sellers below 2 ref)
If he at least provided some proof and made an effort I may have done what you suggest, and provide him with more proof.

Sorry if this might sound offensive, but that just comes out as laziness to me. It would still help if you did post proof and how to set a proper range, should it be needed.
