Both unusuals are fresh and require no minis to use as a valid sale. Sale was just about the amount of time to count as recent.

Notably, on the first link, theres an offer of Vivid Bakers + Harvest Panama + Heart Kabuto + Ether Trail Hellmet - this is quite a bit over these sales

The Arcana company man is 2 years outdated, I'd look at sales for that before using that as a valid offer.

The cloudy moon tossle offer wants adds, and the new price for a c moon tossle is 200, and the guy offering is the guy who bought mine, so I know it's duped, so it won't fetch 200.

Molten mallard mohawk is most likely the only possible offer I would consider "higher," but that hat is getting absolutely no offers within his price.

This pattern persists through almost all of the offers.

I realise quite a few offers consist of outdated unusuals but they still don't seem to be as low as the sales

if any of those offers get taken, it would be an easy resuggest, but personally i haven't seen a recent sale to support the current price.

Considering the prices of searing and other similarly tier'd effects, I wouldn't say so.

You shouldn't base low sales on whether "similar tier" effects sell for that much - just on what this exact hat and effect has sold for/ been offered

Well, considering the new backpack.tf rules on how they will weight pure sales much more heavily than other sales, the 156 pure sale carries a ton of weight more than the offers, considering the owner sold that at non-quicksell price.

it was on his trade, and im fairly sure a backpack.tf trade, if im not mistaken.

I'm iffy about that considering the prices of the other hats in the same trade, but it's possible.

The other prices of the hats in the trade and others of his trades show that he often discounts and quicksells his unusuals

The first sale in that suggestion is falsefied... I found the same person who supposedly "bought it" for 180 pure, and going through his history, he didn't pay 180 pure.. thought I could be wrong, I don't know a ton about this.

I rather doubt it was; a screenshot was provided in the suggestion. I personally did not count all the keys included, but I assume the mod that accepted it did.

Technically, if you insist on updating this, you could do so by taking the pure sale from that suggestion and the one from yours now, giving a range of 156-180 (which you can then round to 160-180, which is optional, definitely not required).

However, as pointed out, offers seem to match the current price much more than the new one. Sales weigh stronger than offers, but since the hat is not even outdated yet, they may be an indication that an update is not yet required

As I mentioned before, the majority of offers are all hats that are outdated and would need suggestions/minis to give a true value estimate of the value, since most of the hats are unupdated.

well I can assure you that hearts buto+ether hellmet + vivid baker + harvest panama is more than 156, even with the buto duped.

Also I just checked, sale 2 is actually the 180 from the previous suggestion. Histories on neither of them match with the cone, nor do IDs show they were part of the same trade.

You made a mistake regarding the 2nd sale proof. The history of the hat will say I'm the next owner (and last, since I still have it). The guy (Triplex) didn't sell it for those hats, but for 180 pure. The purchase was used in the last suggestion, which was accepted. And yeah, there are 180 keys in that puush screenshot. Maybe he will see this and will confirm what I just said.

This makes not much sense I bought my vivid HCK for a Scorching Defiant spartern (84 keys) + antifreeze Medics mountain cap (80) + Blizzardy storm le party phantom (21) + 19 keys that comes to around 200 in mixed.

Current offers are well over 156. Bought mine less than a month ago for ~210 (granted I had hard to price sweets and an unpriced 1/1 Ghost Cannonball included in my offer). Pretty sure the guy who sold for 156 was trying to QS.
