This is all I could find on Outpost that are valid at the time of posting this suggestion.

i dont think the craft ones should recieve a price reduction just becuase uncrafts are flooding the market right now.

if there was no uncrafts there would be no affect to the craft tinge paints also oen reason people arent buying craft tinges is becuase WHO WOULD PAY MORE FOR A ITEM THAT DOES THE SAME THING AS THE CHEAPER VERSION

I don't think there's any difference between uncraftable and craftable paint, and all of the paint entering the market currently is uncraftable, as far as I know. As one might expect, uncraftable paint has a reasonably-recent price.

With that in mind, does it make sense to have two separate prices, or can the craftable one be merged, or else ignored?

(Obviously, if the craftable paint is being treated differently than uncraftable it should have a different price, but as far as I've seen it's treated exactly the same by almost everyone, aside from a few around the key mark, which is barely out of the uncraft range anyway)

Uncraftable ones are flooding the market and fewer craftable ones in existence

Well, yeah, that's pretty much what I said...all the ones flooding in from the sale are uncraftable...but with them being functionally identical, is anyone treating them differently? ToD tickets (among lots of other tools probably, I dunno) also made the transition from craftable to uncraftable, but there's only one price now because no one, or practically no one, treated them differently.

So the question is, are people actually buying/selling craftable white paints for a different price than uncraftable ones?

          Don't spam my suggestion

You should post that in the forums, not here

Spam, seriously? If you took a moment to read what I wrote, I was simply suggesting you should focus on showing that (and how) this item is different than a functionally identical item which already has a price, in order to prove that this suggestion is accurate and needed.

At the very least, it's an honest question, and if you can't be arsed to answer it that's fine, but there's no need to be rude and tell me to take my questions elsewhere when this a comment section provided specifically for the purpose of feedback related to the suggestion.

Anyways, you apparently can't tell the difference between constructive criticism and spam, so I'll just keep it to myself from now on.

It doesn't have anything to do with my suggested price

              Not supportive or a counter

You're simply stating your opinion on my suggestion

Well, people are actually selling them at different prices. I sold craftable black paint at 1.6 keys but can't sell uncraftable ones at 1 key. It's probably just unaware traders. They want black paint, do a search and find craftable black paint (it gets listed first on the list because it has a higher value), and they look at the lowest in classifieds for it. They never see that the uncraftable ones are cheaper.

I've given this some thought, and my opinion is still to just report sales as is. I don't like the idea of forcing the market to go a certain way and saying that craftable should be equal in value to uncraftable, so let's make it so.

I still don't think uncraft's and craftables should have different prices. You can just buy the cheap uncraftable ones and do the EXACT same thing as the expensive craftable. Who actually buys paints to collect them just because the are rarer. Same tool, same result, different prices? No wonder this economy is broken.
