This hat is 1/1 in the game; I just purchased it for $400 in paypal funds. (Keys are currently $1.80 on outpost; 1.8*222=400.)

This is the only sale in several months. The seller acquired it on 2015-07-23, and started trading it to me on 2016-01-21.

almost like 105% sure you need more screens of things besides histories.. proof that 400 dollars was sent might be helpful

Also just because someone was willing to spend 400 irl dollars on an unusual, doesnt mean the hat it 400 dollars worth of keys. Especially if that person is the one suggesting the price.

Of a single sale though? So you're saying if i go and give someone 600 dollars on paypal for a 1/1 hat it is now 600 dollars worth of keys? That can be abused in so many ways.

but there's a set of rules that dictate prices that can be made on this site. And per those (however backwards and illogical they may be) 1 sale for paypal is enough to put a # on a hat.

The only way there's gonna be another sale is having Dr. Blue sell their recently bought one, and I don't think he's gonna sell it for a while. There's barely any way bp.tf prices can be "abused". The prices listed are estimates, they do only reflect the current market for an item, not tell the exact value of an item.

Lets say a friend of a friend has an unusual currently priced at 300 keys. I contact that friend of a friend about how we can raise the price of said unusual by a paypal transaction of 700 dollars. I make a post here showing i sent that person 700 dollars, a little math of how now the price is 388 keys. Boom, i get enough upvotes and now my hat is 388 keys. He gives me my money back and he gets his hat back. Easy 88 key profit. (btw im not saying OP has done this. Just to prove a point of yes, this can be abused)

you could do that without paypal...
