I have been trying to buy one of these - a collector's rescue ranger without any sort of killstreak effect on it etc. for the best part of about a week now. I've spent numerous hours on a daily basis checking every TF2 trading site that I know of as well as the Steam community market but there have been no sellers at all. I have had numerous trade listings open advertising that I was buying one for 18 keys but received no interest from sellers at all.

In the end I had to use my premium status on here to contact almost every owner of a collector's rescue ranger that actively uses Steam/TF2 and either comment on their profile asking if I could buy theirs for 18 keys and in instances where the comments were disabled send them a trade offer of 18 keys with a note instead.

Out of every single player I messaged none of them would accept my offer - with most people saying they paid more than this to get their one or it took them months to obtain it therefore would not sell it. A huge amount of these are also in "collector's" quality collector backpacks. One player eventually accepted a trade offer of 18 keys pure.

There only seem to be two sales that I could even find where either the price it sold at was about 6 (the old price) or the amount it sold for wasn't specified. Very few of these seem to be traded.
