Author intended it to be a joke, or so I heard. I've seen it on the Sniper in-game, and he looks quite funny with it on. That's what makes TF2 so fun and weird sometimes.

Can confirm this, he posted on reddit about it although I'm a bit too lazy to find the link. He didn't actually think Valve would put it in.

A single quicksell doesn't counter 30+ people selling for lower.

I also sold one for 1 key + 1 ref 4 days ago, pretty much an outlier. Upvoting this, hype is clearly dying.

If it went too fast for that price yesterday, it means suggested is low, but as this is hyped, it's a fast-changing market.

That's not even a quicksell, he sold it for more than the suggested backpack.tf price. I think you mean to say it sold quickly. Not that it was a quicksell price.

It went from ~1.66 refined to 10.33-11 refined just because one more class can equip it. It doesn't look that special on sniper anyways... It clips with everything. They just plunked it in as a sniper cosmetic and that's it. Honestly, price should have stayed on 5 refined...
