on bp.tf itself, we got every sell and buy order within the previous 2.33-2.66 range:
http://imgur.com/pKTEEfZ capped at 8pm GMT 8 feb, link http://backpack.tf/stats/Unique/Sharp%20Dresser/Tradable/Craftable
Bots buying at 2.33 successfully sell at 2.44 even though I didn't s-cap them when they were on the sell orders side.
regarding the previous suggestion, http://imgur.com/1aCBa9z It pretty much strengthen the 2.33-2.66 price range. A couple of uninformed buyers at 3refs DO NOT justify a price increase when there are still more (by a margin) people willing to sell at a lower price.
My two cents on that week at 2.66-3.00 price range: it changed nothing on trades made here on bp.tf since the buy orders did not move and the sorted classified allows to easily spot the lowest seller or higher buyer. People outside are asking for bp.tf prices and the lack of comparison tool might let a trade or two slip at a higher price, but many remain unsold.
tl;dr: last increase was validated by 3 trades at a higher price. I hereby present many sell orders at a lower one.
edit: reformated to avoid blind downvotes, thanks for suggestion.
eh downvote, you countered your own low end with buyers at 2.33/2.44
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27213774 buyer for 2.33
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27221153 buyer for 2.33
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27771351 buyer for 2.33
here's a few more to counter
Which is why you have a range, because the low end is not always available all the time. My proof contains people willing to sell at that price, enough to justify that low end.
How your buyers at 2.33 counters the 2.33-2.66 suggestion? It's in the brackets.
buyers at 2.33 show 2.33 is too low 'cause plenty of people are quickbuying at that price
I get the argument, but you can't have a solid 2.66 price and prices like 2.44-2.66 are rejected massively. Should the price remain 2.66-3 for this reason despite all these sellers at 2.33 or even 2 and these unsold at 3?
well we're not even going to talk 2ref 'cause it's easily countered and an obvious quicksell value
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27740913 this guy doesn't own any sharpdressers
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27809353 this is a dead trade, never bumped
and the single 2.33ref seller in the classifieds is young
so your proof of 2.33 is weak, pretty much non-existent
Fuck I'm bad at this, it's the second time I thought I was seeing a no evidence suggestion. i'm thankful you have some evidence.
I'd prefer sold not sellers,
I'm neutral on this.
Dont start suggestions like that unless you like blind downvotes
The votes really don't matter sadly, the mods choose at the end of the day.
The worse is people take any price here as god. so negotiation is so fucking hard. even if it's no evidence.
we know, it's still bad form to start with bait though (intentional or otherwise)
edit: as a tip for the future you can use spaces as characters to fulfill the 10 character minimum
edit2: no need to double reply to me :P there's an edit button
Agreed.
This is 10 characters long.
I know, but if you know me I like a good joke.
The mods do decide; to bad the suggestion is wrong either way because he counters himself
All abroad the downboat
Next time make your introduction shorter please, almost blinvoted ;3;
I know the feeling Dra.
screw the blind-voters who downvoted just because your a white-belt with no accepted suggestions :DI'm gonna start a suggestion up like this soon to see how many people blind-vote it :D
Not so sure about the range right now, so I'll be neutral towards this.
These sell way too quick at 2.66 that i'm trying them for 3 ref instead. Here are many sales at 2.66 and 3 sales at 3 ref.

Sold 2 at 3 ref each to 1 person

I sold mine in hours at 2.66 ref as well. I think a low end of 2.33 is probably too low. Maybe 2.66 flat with about as many sales happening at 2.33 as at 3.
sold one for 2.66 a couple weeks ago, 2.33 is definitely too low https://i.gyazo.com/129ddc7a79a195eb4e402fa005bf3845.png
Sold mine for 2.66 within minutes.
