I don't know, even if he put up this trade and such, it just feels exactly like he was the one offering and had to greatly overpay because, between an ultra wanted cosmetic easily sellable for pure and a Halloween 2014 unusual that is ultra hard to sell, the difference is huge. Here, the guy just knew that, and was personnaly interested in the cats.

I don't think this trade alone justifies such a drop.

if there's no other recent sales, this will have to do though.

No, because it's most likely an outlier/quicksell. The guy didn't even have his hat up for 24 hours to find what he wanted.

Even if the only recent sale of a god tier all-class was for only 100 keys, it doesn't mean it could be priced at that.

I spoke with nicole about this. her response in short-form below. She purchased them off scm on the 31st for roughly 41 keys, which the seller would have recieved roughly 35 keys in scm funds. So... actually this is 2 sales that support a price drop, both around that 37 key mark. Supportive proof, you can check the scm sales graph from the 31st.

That's not two supportive sales, that's one, the market one. This one was a quicksell. He had the trade for more than a week, but open a new one and specified he was ready to 1:1 with companions one day ago only. And one day is a huge quicksell. It's not necessarily about the intention of the person, but if you sell something for a certain price, and people run for your item and pay it without discussin in a matter of hours/ one or two days, in pure (the kitties can safely be considered pure) it's a quicksell nevertheless. Even if the seller did not see it like that.

                  taken from unusual pricing guide;

"•What is a quicksell? •Time is only one factor used to determine a quicksell. If a hat sells within 1-2 days for its b/o in pure, one should be suspicious. However, since time to sell varies greatly among the type of hats (old vs new effects, misc vs hats, high tier vs low tier), this is not a reliable way to identify a quicksell.

•More important is how a sale relates to other sales. If a hat sells for less than commonly offered values in pure or unusuals or for less than common trade points, that is likely a quicksell."

since there is a seller recieving much the same in pure for his sale, this was not a quicksale imho

Except that, come to think of it, are market sales actually receivable?

I'm wondering because, most often, quicksales happen there. Not full price sales. People who have 300 euros on their steam wallet are looking to find good deals with that much money. And people who sell on the market, are most generally just willing to get euros to spend on games or csgo stuff. Which is exactly the behavior that initiates a quicksell process.

Problem is, there is no other valid sales to look at. I'll just wait for the input of the more experienced guys hanging around here.

2 scm sales used in suggestions just from today, to answer your question...

btw, i've voted on 4165 pricing suggestions with a 90.5% accuracy rating and growing. I've seen a few I guess you could say

When I said I'd wait for the input of the others, I didn't say yours was irrelevant. The "more experienced" was saying "more experienced than me".

And considering trading itself, I guess I have seen even more. So, yeah. I'm not here to compare d... You know what I mean.

Personally, I'm going to agree with Happysedits on an upvote. SCM sales require a screenshot and then there's the range game with taxes and etc. I usually lean towards sales with histories and the such that are easy to use, just my two cents.

Oh boy, well I wasn't really quick selling in my mind, I just wanted some companions again since they rose tremendously since when I sold my old ones. Guess this worthy of a price drop, but I wouldn't really know, I'm no expert trader. I just trade for what I want at the time.

I just needed an unusual at the time.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27900784 - b/o was 47, and it should easily cap at that. Quite a few sales now, so this will need a range. Quickbuyer paid 33, so that's probably low. Maybe 37-47
