180 pure + disco headsplitter (57) = 237
Gonna use 240 flat here.
rip but seems better than 470
The rationale you use to determine your value doesn't make sense. The outdated bp price is 470 with trader BOs above that. You find a sale close to the BO price and a much lower but disputed one (refer Polar's comments). Commonsense would dictate the lower amount, if true, would be in fact an outlier. The degree of price drop would also suggest that. I appreciate that as an owner I have a vested interest in the price but I personally believe the logic behind this submission is flawed.
Yes, I did indeed sell this hat for 180pure+DBD headsplitter, I guess you could call it a quicksell at that price as it sold within a day or two of me lowering it to that price, but considering I attempted to sell it higher for several weeks with barely a bite the price I sold it for was not much lower than I think it's worth.
Through my experience paying anymore than 250 keys pure for any single class hat will not end well, bare in mind I got this hat when trading a golden pan and it involved large overpay(1500 or so offer on a pan I picked up for under 1000) to the point that even selling at 237 was a nice profit for me.
Thanks HAXSAW
To me the equation is easy:
Quickselling + one day sale = outlier
Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated.
So two sales here that don't involve much higher tier items. The only other sale on the KE is one for ~120 pure. Realistically, the KE sale is even less than 240 in value. I have scoured buto trades on outpost for the last 5 months, and I don't see any offer higher than 240 anywhere to suggest it might be an outlier. Haxsaw had it for a long time before settling for 240 in mostly pure on it. I'm sure this might get more than 240 in unusuals, but pure value here is probably no more than 240.
Ouch........
RIP
Pretty huge drop for such a hat.
RIP that one 600 seller
Your two compare links are the exact same. Here is the buyer's link - http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198069493147/#!/compare/1452758400/1452844800
In that link there's a lot more going on then just 180 keys + the disco headsplitter, and because bp histories are missing for that time, it's impossible to say exactly what the trade was without adding either the buyer or seller
Sort by time shows you, as jack showed
High tier traders move around keys so quickly, you cannot guarantee that there were only 180 keys from just the seller's history.
trutru. I added haxsaw but he declined me
Where did you get that it was 210 anyways? Also, why do you point out that not all nearIDs could be correct now, but not at other times?
NearIDs are correct. I'm not disputing that. But, for example, I sell hundreds of keys a day. If I received a trade offer in pure, chances are you're not going to see one month from now exactly how much pure I received because I will probably have sold some of those keys on the same day. That's why you should always look on the buyer's side as well to see if more items were involved.
There are more than 180 keys + the disco headsplitter on the buyer's side, but item histories are not up-to-date, so you can't tell from the histories of the keys which ones were involved in that trade.
But the picture I had was from the day the sale was made ;-;
I think you've missed the entire point of what I'm trying to say XD. I just traded a burning phantom for 130 pure. If I sell 30 keys for cash later today, the bp snapshot at the end of the day will only show 100 keys traded. That doesn't mean the trade was 100 pure. 30 keys were traded away so quickly that they don't get captured in the final snapshot.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight rightrightright I see. Why not add the buyer to ask?
Hax confirmed, 180 + splitter.
