Check the Rules
You need to prove this. Simply saying this isn't going to get accepted, you'll need a screenshot of the classifieds, and links to outpost trades.
Thanks for telling me I will improve this suggestion
"Simply saying this isn't going to get accepted"
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/55e27ebbdea9e9e2488b4671 - accepted w/o proof
Nonetheless, I don't encourage laziness, so I'll post some proof

x9 at 9 ref on the Classifieds
Sellers at 8.33 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27895947 - 8.33 ref, about to be valid
Sellers at 9 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27896684 - 9 ref, young, about to be valid as well
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27894006 - poorly bumped
No valid unsolds on Outpost. You culd argue that this should be 8.33-9 ref, but 9 ref seems to be the most common trade point so I guess this is good.
only accepted because polar did the work for the suggester. and doesn't doing the work (providing the proof) for the suggester encourage the suggester to be lazy? mind you I respect and admire that you'd go through the effort of doing the suggestion for the suggester, but at that point I'd just counter
Problem is that you cant have 2 suggestion with the same price at once. If hes lucky and gets the price right there is nothing you can do about it until he closes it. Rip
"only accepted because polar did the work for the suggester"
I don't think having help from anyone who isn't a mod isn't any different from having help from someone who is a mod. Proof is proof, and if it's good enough, the suggestion will get accepted no matter who provided it.
"and doesn't doing the work (providing the proof) for the suggester encourage the suggester to be lazy?"
What I did was like setting an example for what to do the next time the suggester does a price suggestion. But now that you mentioned it, I guess it does encourage laziness more lol
"but at that point I'd just counter"
What Teezy said.
as to the 2nd point, on junk key suggestions I often tell the suggester to go check past accepted suggestions. as to the first point, my point was that if nobody ended up providing the proof it would've been closed as proofless, just like all other junk proofless suggestions :P yes, it doesn't matter who provides the proof, just as long as it's there
In a key suggestion's case, you can't really expect someone to save the day and provide proof. Mainly because
of lazinessthe price they proposed will most likely be far from what the market actually reflects, or because it'll be closed by the time you do find the sufficient amount of proof."it doesn't matter who provides the proof, just as long as it's there"
That would make this suggestion valid then :P
