Only sale:
Sold for 89 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27373724 - B/O of 80 for 3 months, Buyer offered here
Seller: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198163636583/#!/compare/1455523200/1455696000
Buyer's compare link doesn't seem to show the sale at all: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198010763813/#!/compare/1455436800/1455696000
X = 89
Capping by the B/O of 80
Sale is almost a month old, and it seems the buyer has no intention of re-selling any time soon
Thanks Foamy for the assistance!
We tend to ignore B/Os for pure sales. Are you sure it sold for 89 pure?
I added Foamy about this, he said that it would be best to suggest at 80 due to the B/O of 80, which was up for 3 months.
The buyer also stated on the outpost trade "I have 80 keys..."
And I checked each key's history, they all seem to match.
I'm not sure how concrete that B/O was - refer to his conversation with CandyMan almost a month before the sale, where he claimed to be looking for "80-89" keys pure. And before that he was asking $325 (135 keys) for it on SCM.
And secondly, this goes against precedent in suggesting which has been around for ages. Foamy's great and all, but I think he's wrong on this one.
That is true, I was looking at that and wasn't so sure afterwards. I do find it odd how the buyer even states his offer of 80 keys, the seller accepts it, and he goes on to pay 89 keys.
I think I may leave this one alone, this sale is too advanced for me.
Well... leave this up, a mod could agree with Foamy... or a mod could BE Foamy in the near future :P
Aha! Alright, I'll leave this up
This does remind me of a similar situation:
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5619ac5bb98d88b77fcc1abe
This was before the rules changed, though
My main problem here is that his trade notes state a clear buyout of 80 keys. Based on the offer the buyer left, it is clear it was observed as being a BO of 80.
Normally Id ignore buyouts as well if they paid more in pure than that, but the time this one has been up makes me feel it would be weird here to value it over 80.
Also, to Gent's comment: Even if I were to be a mod, I'd want to see the opinion of other mods on this as well before making a decision :P
"Even if I were to be a mod"
Lol
heheh, I made that comment before I officially became a mod :P
As for the suggestion: Ive discussed it with Polar a few days ago, and he would root for 80-89 in this situation. Its up to the suggester in this case since the difference falls within the margin of error, so if you dont want to resuggest for the difference this will be good enough :P
Alright, on it :D
