Funny how someone offered me this on a trade server for almost all my unusuals saying it was like 300 keys.

Scorching is getting priced at 150-225 keys and is currently priced at 150 keys so I doubt this suggestion will pass.

Well, there isnt a rule that says "burning must be always more than scorching". Maybe we should wait till you sell yours or the other gets sold.

There are some exceptions but I'm sure the current owners of those exceptions would want the same or more than scorching

And to refer to your next comments: The burstchester sale is outdated, as is every other sale that's 3 months or older. My sale at 115 is not even a month old, so it's not outdated.

And while in general burning > scorching, not every hat has burning priced at higher than scorching, by that logic most moon effects would > burning as well.

What scorching is being priced at is irrelevant, they're two entirely different effects. For example, the Ghosts Cold Killer is priced at higher than the Purple Energy and Green Energy Cold Killers, does that mean that ghosts > GE and PE? On the hat maybe, but not in general.

^^ He's quickselling for pure and I thought Steamrep allows people to trade with marked people, I checked and made sure he got the hat legitimately

Steamrep =/= Backpack.tf. While yes, trading with scammers won't get you marked anymore, you can still get banned for it both here and on Outpost.

It also means that the site's rules haven't changed, trades with scammers are still invalid.

The sale here is outdated too and since I paid 230 keys in items it makes sense that it gets priced at that much, especially if scorching is getting voted to 150-225 keys, please don't give me the nonsense that scorching is better than burning, it depends on the hat and in MOST cases burning is worth more therefore, it's logical to price this hat at 230 keys which is what I paid for it

I was the one that sold it for the burstchester; that sale is too old to use (it was in november 2015, nearly 5 months ago):

To put that into perspective: I bought it for a burning bonk helm ~67 and a duped beams PE ~66 (which is like 130).

To avoid confusion, both those sales are too old to use so dont refer to this as proof. Back then I saw a suggestion on it and I adviced against pricing it since sales were extremely discrepant.

I guess we're ending up in a similar situation. I'ts definitely worth waiting for the 180 seller to sell
