Hello this is my third suggestion, ignore the first two.
Okay, http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26049025 there is an offer for 3 keys, which is declined, however it's been unsold for 10 months.
Not much activity besides http://backpack.tf/stats/Unique/Strangifier/Tradable/Craftable/30367 unsold at 20 keys.
I just want this to have a listed price for all those pyro mains out there, I'm a sniper main myself.
SCM for the strange item alone is at around 8 keys.
This is INCREDIBLY low.
The cute suit is only 12 ref ish so that should definitely be lowered, but I can't yet due to my inventory.
This will definitely need sales. That offer is 6 months ago (which is too old to use, even if it was a sale), and moreover, the cute suit has since become a multiclass.
In general, a declined offer is not enough to set a price (as it is likely too low, much like a seller isnt enough to set a price since it may be too high). If there's others on outpost, you can bookmark trades and wait until they sell, or you can monitor the steam community market to see at how much it sells there.
Note that if you are going to use steam community market sales, there are specific rules for using such sales for suggestions.
I agree, but for an accurate strange cute suit, we must get a starting point for the strangifier.
not necessary at all, pricing strangifiers is a more recent thing than pricing strange cosmetics that have strangifiers for them
But the strangifier should not cost more than the cosmetic it self, there's one going for 20?!
strangifiers are growing rather rare, sort of a collector's item mayhaps. it doesn't have to make sense, think about this example:
flame thrower killstreak kits (basic ones) are going at 3.5 USD on the SCM (cheapest price), but an australium flame thrower with basic KS goes for aprox 8 USD more than a non KS one
They are not collector items, they have no use except to STRANGIFY something, and thank you for disliking all my comments, what a mature way to solve a conflict.

I disagree with you, I believe your opinion on the subject is wrong, I express this disagreement with a dislike and a reply. and what makes you so big and important that you can tell me I can't collect strangifiers? do you know who the toughsox are?
Why on earth would a strangifier that is obtainable by drop be valuable it's value comes from being multi-class, and are you really threatening me because you know a mod, I know them from a tf2 trading website, so if you have nothing else but prove a point that makes no sense then please stop ranting about "collecting strangifiers.
the point was that toughsox and his wife collect all items, including strangifiers, thus making strangifiers collector's items to them...
since when were strangifiers obtainable by drop?
Oh, okay that is a good point, I was thinking about the mod, some do, but notice he doesn't keep 200, only 1.
The strange variant of the cute suit is 8 keys. You're pricing the strangifier for 3 keys. That's a major flaw already.
But think if the cosmetic is 12 ref, then it would be 7 keys, someone can't even sell it for 4 keys.

Some count is ks as a different wep, but if you get a ks strangifier don't apply it it's worth like 30 keys.
Steam community market stuff. It's known to be pretty unreliable
I didn't use that, I used tf2 outpost, if I used the community market, it would be like 9 keys, and the strangifier would be 0.00 ref.

To address the other issues:
- The cute suit is 14 ref and the strange one is 8 keys, making this 3 key strangifier a means to get the suit cheaper.
- There's generally a difference between a strange and a strangifier. Strangifiers can also be used for low-craft versions of the item (and for a lot of other strangifiers, theyre popular for strangifying unusuals (does not apply here, but still).
Having said that, 3 more than likely too low. You can redo this when actual sales happen, or use scm sales if there are any.
