So because an active trader doesn't want to sell his clean harvest modest, that justifies lowering the price based on duped sales?

It's more like documenting the sale. I clearly labelled the suggestion to say dupes at the top. Traders that have enough to trade with this hat should be experienced enough to check properly. Once the clean version sells it's a simple suggestion really. I don't see much of a problem, given its price. Plus, the collector wouldn't care much for the value here, being a collector.

As has been previously stated, it is not fair to lower the price of something off of dupes when a clean one exists and has sold before, because it is unfair to the clean owner, who wants to keep it. Hence why rare vintage prices are no longer based off of dupes, because clean copies of most of them appeared again.

Did you read what I said? Asking because it doesn't seem you've acknowledged it, instead going off confirmation bias.

To reiterate, I am not lowering the price of the clean one, I am merely pricing the dupe, which is much more commonly traded here.

You are still changing the price. I would ask a mod, something similar to what i have said has been pasted onto many suggestions before
