Some of you may be going BUT BUT ACE YOU PRICE MANIPULATOR YOU'VE TRIEDE TO PULL THIS SHIT OFF BEFORE, If you actually take a moment to check out that 'price manipulation' you'll come to realize it was obvious trolling from a younger more ignorent mwah. I was selling it for a certain price, and he offered (miraculously) with the promise from me that I can make it that price I'm as surprised as you are, but we're 2 consenting adults, and now he has the shako in his bp, and I the grimme. And there's no other sales anywhere so This is it. Bring it on bitches

Yes, it is. A realistic price for this would not be anywhere near 100 keys. Don't make me repeat myself: an outlier does not necessarily need other sales to be defined. It happened already that suggestions are not accepted because the only sale that could be valid is not realistic. This, is not realistic. It's an outlier.
Not mentionning the fact this is obvious manipulation, just the comment of the guy on Outpost is hilariously staged. It is the first time I have ever seen someone say "well, if you can make your buyout the new price on bp.tf, then I will buy it".

There will be no need for the judgement of a moderator - we have experienced suggesters mentioning their informed "opinions". Needless to say, the outpost trade shouts the words "incredibly biased and unrealistic" for a B/O of 100 keys.
This smells like a way to scam bots buying unusuals based on backpack.tf prices.
My amigo isn't too much into trading and honestly doesn't care *cuz he's rich, and gets whatever he wants* and thought it would be funny to make the shako 100 keys. So he offered, and we traded. I can't give you anymore of a real explanation of what happened due to it being so simple. And I'm still kinda amazed myself

If someone sold NnB tree for 1000 keys, then is it 1000 when burning is being sold less then 500? No sense.
Due to how most likely this is an outlier, additional sales would be required to verify its actual value.

The suggestion would still have to wait a month for another sale if we "hide behind the rules", to see if another sale happens. That's without even considering whether or not it's attempted price manipulation, and assuming there are actually no sales in the past 3 months on any of the others that exist.
I've made other price suggestions in which there was only 1 sale, and those got accepted within a day. Just cuz this is incredibly high makes it different?
If it's for an unpriced unusual, it can only be priced with a single sale if either all that are known to exist (usually 1/1) are owned by collectors, it's above a certain value, or after waiting a month to see if there are any more sales. Since there are plenty of these in existence, it can't realistically fall under the first category, it's not high enough to fall under the second category, and so it'll wait a month before it can be accepted.
There's also the fact that it's suspicious as all hell to price this at higher than any other effect, but that's not in "Da Rules".
the suspicion is the complaint though. go read through these posts No one is providing proof of other sales within the months or saying lets wait a month and see. They're just bashing.
Generally speaking only one sale can only be used for either any hat just being updated or a hat w/ no price under the circumstances were the hat is 1 of 1, with only a single sale in the pasts months or when collectors are involved. And as you aren't premium you confirm the other 9 haven't been sold in the last 3 months.
Besides that this is clear cut intent to manipulate the price with the buyer agreeing on the basis the hat would be raised to the specific price.

Um... I guess an option would be to prove this things value by putting it up for sale and seeing what people offer - if he gets offers in the 100 range it means this is fine. Same way the collector's dead of night suggestion went. But I think that would be taking this suggestion to seriously, lol.

I know this is old and invalid, but a N&B Steel Shako was previously for sale at 13 keys which I think was just under a bud at the time (Nearly 2 years ago)

*sigh* everyone thinks/says I need more proof, and they don't believe I actually sold it, due to us being old friends (even though this shit actually went through) :/ ima close this tell him to try to sell it for 100 keys and comeback when I have more proof of other sales that don't involve me selling it to only a old friend cuz I can understand how suspicious this does seem. Well folks I'll be back hopefully with more proof lator... Till then I guess.
