<5%, unnecessary.
It's 7% What in the world are you talking about...
Edit: It should be >5%, necessary
Do you even math?
Please, your English...
Your math do you really need me to screenshot the calculation
Edit: Here it is http://imgur.com/2VD03hq
Sigh first off, the bad English was obviously a joke and the fact that you don't get it reflects you very well actually.
Let me do the math for you then: 5% of 2.88: 2.88/100*5 = 0.144 -> this means that a raise has to be larger than 0.144.
he thinks it's 7% because he thinks it takes 2 scrap to go to 3 ref from 2.88 when it's only 1 scrap
The raise is 2 scrap...
9 scrap in a ref... not 10
2.88 + 0.11 =2.99 which is 3 ref
2.88 + 0.22 = 3.10 = 3.11 ref
reason why it doesn't reach exactly 3 ref is because:
1 / 9 (to convert to scrap) = 0.11111111111111111111111111111111 (0.11 rounded to 2dp)
if you use the infinite decimals it makes 3 ref

WTF ARE YOU SAYING NOW
HAVE YOU GONE NUTS Blaze...
?
it says this in there:
"0.11 = 1 Scrap
0.22 = 2 Scrap
0.33 = 3 Scrap or 1 Reclaimed
0.44 = 4 Scrap or 1 Reclaimed and 1 Scrap
0.55 = 5 Scrap or 1 Reclaimed and 2 Scrap
0.66 = 6 Scrap, 2 Reclaimed, or 1 Reclaimed and 3 Scrap
0.77 = 7 Scrap, 2 Reclaimed and 1 Scrap, or 1 Reclaimed and 4 Scrap.
0.88 = 8 Scrap, 2 Reclaimed and 2 Scrap, or 1 Reclaimed and 5 Scrap.
1 = 9 Scrap, 1 Refined, 2 Reclaimed and 3 Scrap, or 1 Reclaimed and 6 Scrap."
which is what i've been saying the entire time
Hm, possible.
@OP, the way ref is calculated goes like this: 1 ref = 3 rec that means that every rec has to be x=0.3333333... (0.(3)) ref so 3x = 1 is correct, the same goes for scrap, 1 scrap is y=0.1111111... (0.(1)) ref so 3y = x
So 2.88 actually is z=2.8888888888.. (2.(8)) and z + y would be 2.99999.. (2.(9)) together which is equal to 3.
We are basing this on trading... 1 ref = 3 rec
1 rec = 3 scrap
I have tried to explain it to you calmly, you just don't get it, honestly, go to school.
It's a raise from 2.88-3 its a 2 scrap raise!

0.144... Thats the 5%
I raised it by 0.22 That's above 5%
That's it NO MORE ARGUMENTS TILL A MOD STEPS IN TO MAKE IT CLEAR
No need for a mod, I used math to explain to you why this is a 1 scrap change.
Obviously the math you calculated was correct in a sense... But we are basing this more on the community.....
1 REF IS 3 REC 1 REC IS 3 SCRAP !!
What you said is correct but 1 scrap is still 0.(1) and this is still a <5% change.
3,024 would be 5%
It is less than 5%, but 3 ref is more likely to be a common trading point than 2.88, not to mention there's multiple buyers, no cheaper sellers, and scm supports a rise.
