Sale 2 -
http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198082116291#!/compare/1457078400/1457856000
Sold for a Strange Puzzle to Me Prehistoric Pullover (135)
Mini for the Pullover -
http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198048046849#!/compare/1457596800/1457683200
Sold for an Abduction Universal Translator (Before all class update so it was worth 21) + Unusual Knife (32) + Unusual Revolver (35) + Fountain of Delight Buy a Life (43.5) + Lime Paint (2.1) . 21 + 32 + 35 + 43.5 + 2.1 = ~135 which might seem odd but the current suggestion for the non-strange puzzle pullover is oudated
Once again, sale #2 occurred on 3/4/16, and is too old to use here.
Would have had to have occurred in February (or any month before that) for it to be considered outdated
Sales up to 3 months old are valid for rarely sold hats, so March 20th onward.
This is 3 months old
Your concept of what constitutes a month is different from mine, and my stance isn't going to change. If it were the only sale you had or the other sale were nearly as old I'd mind less, but you're weighing it equally with a sale that happened two weeks ago, which really doesn't make sense.
We can agree to disagree I guess, since I'm interested in how the moderators interpret this issue anyhow. If I could, say, replace 2+ year old prices with 4 month old sales, I'd do it. But that's not for me to decide.
Second sale happened 3 months and 16 days ago.
As far as I know I can use a sale as long as it isn't 4 months+ old.
It's 3 months, not 4.
I've been told multiple times that 3 month sales are still valid. Any sale that is ≥4 months is invalid
you've also been told multiple times sales older than 3 months are not valid as seen in this comment section
myself included
rofl no I haven't. I've also had suggestions accepted with sales ~3 months old and a few days old.
i was referring to this comment section.
your second sale was around 3.5 months ago, not just a few days over 3 months
Doesn't matter. As long as the sale isn't 4 or more months old it is fine...
never heard of this 4 month rule before, always been 3 months.
mind showing where it says this?
I haven't seen 3 months either. It has always been that 4 months or more can't be used. Anything below 4 months can be used

ummm
"Sales older than 2 months old are not valid proof; this does not mean that they are not useful. Feel free to include them to provide supplemental proof. Just don't rely on them to set your range.
Exceptions: For very rare hats, if there have only been 1-2 sales in the last 3 months, a trade up to 3 months old is okay to use as proof to establish more data points. Keep in mind, new sales should take precedence over older ones.
Hats with an outdated price (>3 months old) are not valid proof. Again, please include links for outdated hats in your suggestion as supplemental proof. Just don't rely on them to set your range. "
I'll wait for a mod then because I've had suggestions with sales 3 months+ old in the past easily accepted
its >3, i.e anything up to, but not exceeding 3 months. The problem in your reasoning is that you appear to see ≥4 the same as what should be >3. (i.e you say 3 month old sales are valid, and thats true, but 3 months and a few days =/= 3 months, its >3).
There are a few exceptions, but this definitely isnt one of them. The other suggestion is more appropriate here.
