1 of 1, only usable sale

http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198086605050#!/compare/1465171200/1465257600

Sold with a demonflare horrific headsplitter (recently updated at 240), a green energy professional's ushanka (recently updated at 232.5), a cauldron bubbles festive tree (recently updated at 32.5), and 7 keys for a scorching patriot's peak (recently updated at 1250)

240 + 232.5 + 32.5 + 7 = 512 - 1250 = 738 rounding to 740

previous owner had a b/o of 1000 -- http://prntscr.com/bdlpvv -- so I think this is fine

There is another sale for this however it consists of a lot of hats without available minis (would be close enough to 740 so w/e)

I wouldn't really use this sale to price the Sleeveless as it is kinda bulky.

was told that the sale was fine so I could care less about what you think tbh

I have no proof of that so I honestly couldn't care less about your proofless claim.

          Stop this.

But yes, I adviced against using this sale at all

            sry

do you think this sale is even usable or would you rather it just remain at the current price

They're all recently updated and the Sleeveless is comfortably over half the value of the sale on seller's side, I don't see the problem.

I dont like the idea of using at with a 300 key range to price a hat half the value of said hat. In that essence it should be clear that that sale is in no way an accurate representation of the sleeveless' value. Hence I adviced against the use of the sale.

However, the option to report the sale is there, and if nothing else happens, this may be fine for that reason. Can it be used? Yes. Will it be accurate? no.

If a 300 key range makes a hat unusable for pricing, then the 300 key range should never have been accepted. The fact that range WAS accepted is a tacit agreement that that price is valid for pricing from. Either that suggestion is reverted, or this is also valid. Your personal preference should not weigh against what is the primary function of the site.

Again, there's a difference between sales that can be used and sales that are accurate. Im not saying its not usable - Im even literally saying it can be used, as the rules allow it - Im just saying that the sale itself is not an accurate representation of this item's value, despite the fact that it can be used.

A similar discussion was had about that hat (cant remember which suggestion, I thought it involved using the beard for the KE or the KE for a GE bonk, both of which are like this situation, except those had other sales). The discrepancy in values you see in those suggestions is the reason why these sales are excluded as much as possible.

The rarer a hat sells, the more leniency is granted to the usage of such sales, as for high tiers, suggestions also function to report what items a hat has sold for
