Rolling with 16 flat, open to constructive criticism.

Thanks Mindacos!

I dont really see the motivation behind calling the trade for the bone dome the outlier in this case. I did a quick check on how many keys actually were involved in the sunbeams tree deal and it seems the Toque added around 40-45 keys roughly counting so to me it seems that the tree sale + stormy nickel and vivid football show that the bone some sale is the outlier.

Ofcourse, i was the buyer of the toque in the bone dome deal, so take it as you will, but no matter what i definetly dont think you can just disregard the nickel + football or tree sale. Anyways im still kinda new to how price suggestions work here so if im way off or something or you maybe want to discuss my opinion here feel free!

You only counted about 40 keys in the tree trade? Because I'm seeing nearer 70. It's a little more obvious seller-side: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198105911160#!/compare/1460764800/1461456000

Not to mention the tree is duped. I wouldn't be surprised if that sale came to a negative value on the Toque.

So with that being a low outlier and the other sale being a high outlier, you're left with 16 in the middle.

I only counted 40-45 which were actually used in the trade by looking at the histories of the keys, and counting the ones which actually went from buyer to seller in this specific deal. Id say the tree sale needs research to figure out the exact number of keys involved + mini on the duped tree and using the outcome it can then be determined which of the other ones is an outlier.

Based on the fact most are untradable in the buyer's backpack before moving, I'd rather suggest histories failed to catch a certain number of them. I'm telling you now for a fact the Nickel + Football Helm sale is almostly certainly an outlier.

Well i guess i know too little about how the histories work to have a comment on that. I dont agree that you can say that nickel + football is an outlier just because it might feel that way for certain individuals.

My thought is that these price suggestions are here to remove subjectiveness in pricing, and use actual sales to motivate pricing. And in this case what im seeing is one sale for like 30+ or whatever it comes out to on Nickel + football, one for 16 and a third one with histories that seem too wacky to determine anything from without steam inventory histories from one of the 2 parties involved in the tree trade. So simply not enough data to price this hat, imo.
