you can actually if there have been no clean sales in a hella long time or there are no clean ones. one example is a hat i purchased ... http://backpack.tf/suggestion/5706901583de6b7ca579ede3 but plenty of others out there too that have been. the question here is, is there clean ones that have been seen on the market??

You bought it for cash though, with no way of knowing if it was clean or duped, bit of a different scenario there.

no, i knew it was a dupe. there are ways of checking if you have premium bp (or a friend who does lol)

I find it highly unlikely that you knew it was duped, seeing as items listed on the SCM wont show in the premium search 9/10 times, after all it's not present in anyone's inventory if it's listed on the steam market, so there is no way for this site to track it's location.

between the premium search and previous price suggestions it was determined that it was a dupe by my friend at the time. yes. not arguing with you. in any case dupes have been used to set prices when the clean ones haven't been seen on the market in over a year. oh i should add too that the owner who it was duped for, plan b, has been a long time friend of mine and we double confirmed it was that same unusual thru his bp history.

Makes sense, but like no clean sales and none on the market. Better close this then?
