Classifieds at time of suggestion: https://gyazo.com/d19261e523a2961f3a7abfe564340651

SCM: http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Strange%20Dead%20of%20Night, lowest sale over the past week at 7.7 keys (seller got 6.7, July 29, 4am EST), highest sale since then at ~15keys (seller got 13, Aug. 2, 4am EST). Current lowest seller at time of suggestion: ~12 keys (seller would get 10). Average sale value since lowest sale, inclusive: (7.7 + 11.25 + 12.16 + 8.14 + 2x11.05 + 8.15 + 11.19 + 11.2 + 11.44 + 15.05 + 9.94 + 14.92 + 9.16 + 13.89 + 11.66 + 9.18 + 11.86) / 18 sales = 11.06 keys (seller getting 9.6), rounding to 11 and setting as value.

quickbuyers easily counter this on classifieds. also I have sold 3 the last 2 weeks. 2 to quickbuy orders on scm for a little over 14 keys and in game for 18 keys (was more but b/o capped). 11 is absurd. This isn't some craft hat. You need unsolds at current for over a week to show it's not selling there anymore because of the value of it (falls into low-tier unusual pricing range) and with many in game sales you need proof of those sales. Your outpost listings are invalid and don't even have the item in their bp's as well. Close this before a mod has to waste time looking at it.

When was your last sale? Do link inventory history screenshots, neither suggestion has much in the way of actual trades.

july 29 was in-game trade - blizzardy storm virus doctor, 4 keys and a white painted dead of night

trying to screenshot trade but steam trade history down atm. grabbing it, but it's an outlier anyways at 18. there were sellers @ 16 that day but the user couldn't get response from them and / or they only wanted pure.

edit: here's the screenie = http://tinypic.com/r/6egfn7/9 - I had a buyer collecting 18 keys that also had one of the 16 key sellers added, so I assume he bought one for 16 as well, because he un-added shortly after I made this trade. I had 2, 1 of which i had on scm because it was untradable but he didn't want to wait another few days.

Yet again, where does the suggested price come from?

Average SCM since the week's lowest sale, converted to keys based on most current market price. Last line of text.

      Thats not how it works?

So it's better to base a suggestion off of listed prices rather than sale prices?

          Yes.

if you go and look at the suggestion salvage closed you will see many reasons why yours is too low and you have 0 sales proofs offered, not even your own quicksell. just close this and get some sales proofs that are inside a range that's reasonable

1st seller is also unbumped. he was also offered 11.

        He also quicksold it seems.

There are still buyers that counter the suggested price

You can't do 12 keys either, because the seller at 12 already sold

Would you say 11-12 keys works better? The item is clearly on a downward trend, so it's not like this is the last suggestion for the item. No proof for 10 keys as a low end, 12 keys seems too high, and knowing quickbuyers they'll quickly change their price once they get more than one offer per week :P

You shouldn't be using steam community market sales to lower an item that is this abundant on outpost and backpack, especially since some of the sales you used went to buy orders, which are too low to use
