So here's what happened. A. Was brokering the Viewfinder for Venom. He sold it for 1400 Keys + 2 Golden Pans. Venom gave 400 Keys to A. as part of his brokering fee.
bassman went first with the 1400 Keys trusting A, then the trade was finalized with the 2 Golden Pans for the Viewfinder.
Screenshots of the sale(hopefully) coming soon.
Only useable sale, 3700 Keys should be fine.
Additional Proof/Counter-Proof/Constructive Criticism/Feedback is always appreciated.
damn, bassman (darth) is so damn rich. anyway, the sale looks good. and venom was only saying it was 2500 tops so he gets less hate :p
Easy profit I guess...
How exactly is any trade involving this user valid ?
The user in question is not a scammer and not a price manipulator, so trades involving him are fine per se. Of course they can be outliers like any other trades as well.
He sure isn't "marked scammer", but everyone knows he might as well be. But okay. :)
Lol just because he gets hats for cheap and ure unhappy because ure thinking, damn why didn't I get that hat for that cheap and ure jealous. There are a ton of people, even your mods or people who price hats ever so often who does exactly what venom does, lowball the fuck out of everyone. So if you wanna consider him a scammer, you mightaswell consider purplelicious a scammer too for offering new pan owners 1100 in unusuals knowing it goes for 1500-1800 in unusuals, or dead boom who offers a new scorching hat owner 1100 in unusuals when he offers the other owners 1300 and knows it's worth way more than that. Simply said just because venom low balls does not mean he sharks, he didn't pay 20% of the hat price so stop being a jealous fuck
Stay with facts please. Venom did end up buying this viewfinder for 20% of it's value (after he bought back the Burning Lid). Purple would never buy a hat for 20% of its value (in fact always close to bp.tf prices if non pure), and never lie to a new unboxer in order to get a better deal. So you can stop with the name calling now and calling other people sharkers when that's just wrong. If you have evidence of any concrete sharks feel free to use the report system, but this suggestion is not the place for that.
I'm not calling them a shark, I'm just saying that if u call venom a shark u might aswell call the people who are subtle in Sharking, sharks too. 20% is such a stupid figure btw. That way someone can just pay 25% for every hat he buys.
Venom is a shark by bp.tf definition because he lied to a new unboxer and misrepresented values. Venom is a shark by outpost definition because of that + the 20% value figure. "Subtle sharking" as you call it has nothing to do with the sharking we are all talking about, paying someone 80-90% of somethings value is not sharking by any stretch (if there are lies involved we can start talking about it).
Personally I would consider most non-pure sale around 50-60% of it's value (bp.tf value in most cases) to be a shark (from new unboxers), but that's only my moral standpoint and has nothing to do how I handle things here.
A "jealous fuck"? Jesus, now I get why you two are friends, the denial of the truth and the vulgarity here are striking. Tell me, do I look like someone unsuccesful in trading to you? Yeah, no. Stop mistaking facts stating for jealousy. Reminds me when I told Hip J he was blatantly lying about preying for soon-to-be all classes and called me jealous, when in truth it should be the opposite concerning backpack growth. Don't flatter yourself or Venom, I would much rather be "poor" the honest way than be rich by swindling as many not-experienced users as possible. What matters isn't the profit, it's how you get it. But of course that is far too advanced for guys like you.
Oh and by the way, getting pans for their value in unus, sure is a good deal, but certainly not a shark. Stop embarassing yourself by showing you don't even know what sharking means. Next time you want to get personal and insult me because I'm merely saying the truth regarding your beloved friend, at least make sure you get the facts right. And thinking you know better than both Outpost and backpack.tf mods what sharking is, now that's some pretentiousness we've got over here.
1 word, jealous. Enough said.
Reading is overrated I guess. And so is having actual arguments. Nevermind.
The broker fees will need to be factored in here - http://i.imgur.com/uCSEWiM.png?1
You mean that the broker fee should be added or subtracted? Because I did include the broker fee(which was 400 keys from my knowledge).
Venom recieved 1000 and the pans(which he valued at 1000 each), which is probably what he meant.
Would be subtracted. So perhaps giving the trade value a range of 3300-3700 or something might work if I'm understanding your suggestion correctly.
So treating this sale as if it were an SCM sale because of the fees? That could work. Resuggesting.
