Over the past few months, there have been plenty of sellers at and below 40; Ive been offered this quite often on a quickbuyers trade and Ive always declined them because the market was flooded with sellers at 40; I find it hard to believe this should raise.

Theres currently a month+ unsold at 45.

Quite sure the bubbling DCO was overpriced to begin with; may be better to update the dco with the whoopee. With these sales Id probably call the lowest two and the highest two sales outliers and make a range of 35-40

the dco was just priced at 50 recently which i think is a fair price and it sold for a cloud 9 pencil pusher

and the brigade helm has a mini that was made off a sale that i got from a pervious owner of one, he bought it with 15 pure and a festive tree miami nights so im pricing it at 48 plus the 2 keys he added to buy the whoopee cap which totals to 50 keys

That price isn't outdated but it is nearly there, to be considered to need a mini but not at the current moment the last price suggestion that was accepted and made

The brigade sale had a buyout of 40, and will need to be capped at that. Sales are capped at their buyouts in pure.

Be that as it may, it's still an outlier. The abundance of lower sales and sellers speaks for itself here.

Theres also a recent sale on that DCO for a blizzardy jeepcap btw (which is super low, though), and one sold for ~30-35 keys to a scrap bot. To me, those indicate that the DCO needs a drop, and the sale for the whoopee cap supports that. The DCO doesnt necessarily need to be handled here; all I can say is that if the DCO is 50, its an outlier in this suggestion, based on the evidence i've provided two comments back.

I've seen this hat (whoopee) unsold at 40 and lower for well over a month, and there's a current seller at 45 for over a month as well. 50 is obviously too high for the whoopee.

Ive seen fairly decent unusuals sold to the scrap bot including a DBD black watch which was clean and was a very nice unusual,

which in my opinion describes the fact that despite the fact it was sold to a scrap bot doesnt necessarily mean the unusual is bad or needs to be dropped in price,

The owner might've just needed some quick and easy pure resulting in them being impatient and selling the unusual to the scrap bot

Well as I said, the DCO does not need to be handled here.

What I've shown here is that there are a lot of indications that the DCO may be high at current (indicators such as the last suggestion more than doubling it in price, it being dumped on scrap bots and having lower sales). Im not saying it can never sell for more, or that its wrong, or that it needs to be dropped in price right now, Im just providing indications that support the fact that the DCO is likely high at current, which may explain why the sale is an outlier at current value.

When items have incredibly high/low outlier sales, I always try to determine why the sales are/were so high/low, as they help determine the hat's actual sellability. For this hat it was already clear; multiple sellers over time for far lower showed the outlier(s) clear enough, but for some hats it may not always be clear. In those situations you'll rely on those indications.
