Alternatively, his OP trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28463417

No usable sales, everything is extremely bulky.

I know there's at least 2 or 3 sales on this hat.

Please read, I checked them both, but they're both extremely bulky (the "third one" appears to be someone selling his backpack for PayPal).

        Oh gosh, my apologies.

          No worries. :D

Check before you comment, a hard lesson I had to learn countless times. ^^

This is just a question to ponder. Don't you think that if everyone stated in their listings that they'd accept only pure as payment that there would be a lot less trading going on in general? Can you imagine how many trades would sit unsold because they'd only accept keys? The vast majority of traders have all of their backpack value tied up in items, not keys. A fraction of the traders out there could actually buy items valued over 100 keys with pure. So my other question would then be, is it fair to reprice an item based on the seller making the stipulation that he will only accept pure as payment? Just something to think about.

Backpack.tf is trying to reflect the pure values of items though, so it only makes sense to use B/Os to drop, even if the seller is accepting pure only.

That's not really my point. There is not enough potential buyers out there ready to pay pure for anything that hits the listings to use that to fairly downgrade everything. He also mentions in his Outpost listing "Priced to sell" and stating he wants pure, and says pure only on his backpack.tf listing. This is a very subtle difference from saying "quickselling for pure", in which case this would not be a valid suggestion. I'm not here to argue with anyone, if the mods want to use this to downgrade that's their call. I just wanted to bring awareness to it.

There actually isn't a huge amount of difference, if he said "quickselling for pure" but his listing had been there 2 months this would be just as valid. Just stating you are quickselling doesn't make it true if you can't sell at that price.

Still better to wait for sales, though.

Stating it's a quicksell doesn't matter if it hasn't sold in X days? That part I was not aware of.

Words don't affect whether it's a quicksell or not, if it sells really quickly then it's a quicksell, whether the seller stated it or not is irrelevant.
