If you check closely, the first sale is me obtaining the team captain, not selling it. The 120 buyout you linked refers to sale 3. Which is exactly what I wrote on the Outpost trade, I always put what I sell my hats for, in order to help suggesters. I then sold the cannonball for 40 keys pure, so the trade definetely caps at 120.

And sale 1 is not what happened, no medes was involved, but I am fairly certain I did not just accept the team captain for my federal casemaker. I'll check that and get back to you!

Looks like it was the TC + ~25 for the fed which should still come out to about 120. And he has the sale at 140 pure, so I think the suggestion here is probably okay.
