1,180 / 1.97 (opskin's price on keys) = ~599 keys, more than a 20% change

Not sure about the validity of Opskins. It is primarily for CSGO items and is not a go to place for TF2 items. The search function is also difficult to use. If you had mentioned marketplace.tf then I would have agreed. I also thought you would need to provide sales not just trade details.

You clearly just haven't used opskins enough then because I find it easy to use and have relative ease selling tf2 items on the site.

Marketplace.tf is certainly an easier site to use, but 8 months!? Even if the site is "hard to use", why has a "775 key hat" been selling for 599 for 8 months now. This price certainly better than the current one so I'll have to disagree with your opinion on this suggestion not being accepted.

This discussion is purely opinion based as it can be argued that the greater TF2 community primarily use SCM and the private seller websites are used solely by tragics like us so should not be referenced for pricing suggestions.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but I have not seen price suggestions accepted on high tier unusuals without valid sales. I may not be an expert here but I always thought that sales proof was the only valid proof.

Anyway good luck getting this up though personally I'll be downvoting it.

Firstly, if you have read the rules then you would definitely know that if the suggested price is 20%+ off the current price with sufficient proof provided by sellers then the suggestion is considered legitimate without the requirement of sales. Additionally, there have literally been 0 sales for this hat in its non strange form so its not like theres any sales to oppose this suggestion

I know for a fact ive seen multiple suggestions like this go through but I cant find any atm since im on mobilw. I might look later for examples :p. Regardless though I don't see how this is opinion based at all :p all my statements have been based upon the suggestion rules while having my opinion prevalent in the process, but not to an extent that deviates from the point of my statement

I mentioned I am not an expert so I am happy to accept what you say on face value.

What I didn't appreciate is the "vouch for bob" statement. I trade with bob and he is on my friends list but that does not mean I'm his puppet. If you have a problem with bob take it up with him but next time leave out statements like that where your only intention is to start a flame war.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any that weren't for the strange version :( That further shows that the hat isn't selling for its current price though

Not sure why them being strange matters, as this hat has a strangifier, making it easy enough to calculate values of non-strange ones. Unless you meant that only sales you found were of strange DCOs that were unboxed, not strangified.

Two things:

-You shouldn't use OP skins to lower the price of something. It's notorious for being discounted.

-You have a sale, use that instead.
