I would probably go with 8 ref flat here. Keep in mind that we are after the most common trade points for items. Do you really think that 7.88 ref is going to be the most common trade point for any item? I have seen frequently people selling items more easily for something like 16 ref even when there are other sellers at 15.77 ref, just because it's less of a hassle to figure out change.
