Correcting The Mighty Bob's suggestion :

Sale #1

http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197995232897#!/compare/1475971200/1476144000

Sold for Golden Pan + 200 keys pure + 400 keys in cash = 1750

Indeed, it is the only sale in a long time.

Proof of the cash being transferred?

      Late post edit :

      Paypal to keys :

      Seller receives 618,48€

      Key price = 618,48€ / 400 = 1,5452€ ~ $1,78 USD (1.15 Euro/USD rate)

Let me know if more information is required.

"You are using a wrong key price, 1.85$ is the rough PayPal value of keys, that's 1.68€, now you calculate 618.48€/1.68€/key = ~368 keys"

        From:

Salvage (his bp value is too low comment here)

Both seller and buyer agreed on the key number together, the buyer then converted himself USD into euros through Paypal, this is why it is not a round number considering rates.

Moreover, I personally had to sell keys for cash recently. To be honest, I struggled at finding people who could afford to buy hundreds of keys at a time, at $1.85 USD each. It is in their best interest to negotiate.

It also seems that the price of in key is variable. As you said, $1.85 seems to be the rough one, however I'm pretty sure you could find keys sellers as low as $1.70 and as high as $1.85 / $1.90 USD. In my opinion, the key price correlates with the quantity of keys that are traded.

Finally, you can find TF2 keys at $1,85 USD on Opskins. Considering a 5% cut if you have premium, the seller receives $1,7575 USD per key.

And 1,7575 / 1.15 = ~1,53€. Pretty close to the key price I established above.

Using (close to) 1.8$ is not really wrong either tho.

      That 1000 key raise

        + 2 unicorns.

Just kidding obviously...it was only one.
