ps: foamy i'm not targeting your bp, i just suggest prices for the first things i see that needs updating (otherwise i have no idea what to update) and so happens your items were the first to appear in classies when i checked. its what i've been doing for years now. what i don't understand is that you immediately closed my vivid crocleather slouch suggestion even when i suggested the buyer may not be actually buying for that amount as it is so old and may have not updated the prices. happened to me on many occasions before on 1 year old trades like that trying to sell to them. normally any unusual suggestion would be up for a while to see whether or not it is truly accurate but you closed it within 2 hours, why?

Sales were 15 and ~45. Someone with your experience can and should know that updating anything based on either of those sales - even though there are direct indications that both of them are outliers - is not the way to go. Id have closed that if I didnt own it as well.

15 may not have clearly been an outlier though cause that buyer may not even be valid. 45 however was obviously an outlier considering the actual sellers were selling at 23 keys (4 days) and 25 keys (2 months)

so does that mean buyers, even if they are that old are still valid? (despite maybe not even actually willing to pay that amount)

there are multiple quickbuyers at 16; I just took the first one I saw since I remember checking that before I took the offer.

Its a matter of common sense here. One person paying 45 in hats for an item he then dumps on a 15 key aussie; in every case that means that whichever of the two values you're going to pick, its going to be off. Sure, Im aware 45 is too high, but it should be more than obvious that 15 is too low there. Theres a difference between hats that are outdated and hats that "need an update".

As for closing that: I too did what I always do: comment why something is wrong, and then give the suggester time to fix/close. You commented, but did not close or take action, so I did.

i was asking a valid question to you when i commented, just wanted to know exactly why it was an outlier.

now that you've explained and showed another buyer it makes a lot more sense that that was also an outlier.

So if you decide to update the Bloke's you got two free suggestions there, but irregardless of that the sale should cap at 40 on the brigade.

32 hasn't been relisted, though it's also proof of an unsuccessful sale at that. Whether you want to go 32-40 or 38-40 is up to you, though i'd personally prefer the latter either range should be fine. This'll need a resuggestion regardless.
