The trade was closed a day after it was opened. I don't think it should be capped.

It was closed by the OP staff. They though he was trading with scammers but he wasn't. He got it on 13th and sold on the 19th per history.

The B/O wasn't there enough time to be considered valid. He listed it on the 15th, trade was closed on the 16th and sold on the 19th. The B/O should be overlooked either way imo.

His bo was listed as 100 for around 5 days on backpack.tf, but I don't think I could give sufficient proof for that, as I don't have screenshots

5 days for a hat like this is really quick, and considering it sold for way above the B/O then it doesn't make much sense to cap the sale.

Anyways, the sale won't be an outlier unless it resells for (or gets offers) above that.

Theres no rule which states that a hat has had to been for sale for 'X' days in order to be capped or sold for 'X' above buyout in order to liable for a cap.

So? That is supposed to be decided with good reasoning by the suggester. No need to have a rule when it varies from case to case. K1ng is 100% right that this shouldn't be capped, it was open for a short period of time and sold for way more in unusuals. This suggestion is fine.

This entire sale is a massive outlier. Theres no way stormy storm is worth more than this.

Outliers are sales that lie outside the range a hat commonly sells for, since this is the only recent sale it can't be an outlier, you can claim that it is low but that would be stupid considering that this is what you paid for this hat.

I think he was smart to pay what he did
