Frostbite Janissary Ketche

Sold for a Strange Blizzardy private eye <In date> + roughly 4 keys in sweets - https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198043826027#!/compare/1482796800/1482883200 ~ 23

Sold with 32 keys and about a key in sweets for a Purple Energy Backbiter's Billycock - https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198110335237#!/compare/1482537600/1482796800

Taking 23.

Is this ok? or was i supposed to make a mini for the Billy and give it a range?

I remember reading something about sales not usable if an item is less than 50% of the trade or something so idk...

It's not about the ketche being less than 50%

It's about the whole sale being a complete outlier. I'm not even going to start arguing how much of an outlier it is. Taking the billycock at 44 keys, this sale is equivalent to pricing the Ketche at 12 keys, around half of the suggested value. You'd have to make a range of 12-23 if you really insisted on taking the second sale. Low-tier ketches go for 12 keys, not frostbite, and the range is huge for a low-tier hat.

    Stick with 23

Kind of absurd thinking about it now, i deserve a slap for that i guess...thanks.

The ketche being less than 50% means its bulk, so its unusable for it is an outlier and a bulk sale.

Sale should definitely not be used.

Yeah I'm aware it's a bulk sale. Were I to choose whether it should be disregarded for being bulk or an outlier, I'd go with outlier any time of the day, though. In many bulk sales you have the element of overpay that comes into play, however there's a difference between that and taking half of the hat's value.

      Another sale: https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198059853249#!/compare/1482883200/1482969600

      16-17 keys.

      Outlier still? I'm still learning.

It might not be. I looked at their Outposts. No B/O was listed on the seller's trader, and the buyer's OP is inactive for the most part. He's had a quickbuying trade open for two days, which precedes him buying the Ketche.

As the person updating this hat's price, I suggest you add him to inquire. If he was added to buy this as a quicksale, it's safe to disregard it and roll with 23. If not, and he offered on it, you should roll with 17-23 instead. Close this suggestion in the meanwhile.

https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198167149339#!/compare/1482883200/1482969600 And it sold again for around 22 or 23 keys.

I'd say the sale above is another outlier.

That sale there is not 22 or 23 Keys

It sold for a Blizzardy Storm Western Wear + Strange Mustachioed Mann + Strange Outback intellectual + Painted Villains Veil (With spell)

The western wear is 2 Years out of date and will Need a mini

Even if it was 13 Keys the sale is ~15 Keys (Paints don't really count as whole value)

The Keys and the knife were simply not involved

It cannot be an outlier if you only have 1 sale, you will need a range with values provided from other sales (Yes more than one) Now you have a sale at 23 ~17 and ~15 (See below)

Infact looking at the values 23 seems to be the outlier but it purely depends on the Western Wear mini

In Brief - Get more sales and find the outliers
