Still, it was a lovely refresh.
Unsold for almost two weeks at a scrap - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28684112
Should I leave it open to see if it sells, or resuggest now?
Sorry, not trying to be difficult, but the point I'm trying to make on these suggestions is the same. Most uncraftable weps are not the easiest to sell for a scrap. It's like saying that we should price craftable weapons at a scrap when someone successfully sells for a scrap. Yeah, they'll occasionally sell for that much after a while, but their value really is still 0.05. These are a little bit different, but the same idea applies. If it takes weeks / months for some of these to sell, probably not fair to price at 0.11 flat just because one finally sells for that.
It doesn't apply to all of them, for sure. When buyers are at 0.11, certainly needs to be in the range.
I'm leaving some of these up just to see if any new sellers pop up. You're welcome to leave them up as well if you like.
I understand your point now, thank you for making it clear. Unfortunately I've already opened these suggestions so I can't really do anything other than closing them. However, some of them might be valid so I think I'll keep them going just to see if any will be accepted. Further explanation is not needed on the other suggestion, thanks a lot.
Yeah, outside of refined and random craft hat suggestions, these are imo the hardest suggestions to evaluate. They sell so rarely for a scrap, it's really really hard to tell whether they sold for a scrap because they're actually worth a scrap or whether someone finally got lucky and managed to sell one for that (just like a craftable wep). That's kinda why I prefer having all these priced at 0.05-0.11 and leaving them at that to account for variability. But that isn't necessarily correct. Some are actually worth 0.11. The ones you have up at 0.11 flat will be fine if no new sellers at 0.05 pop up.
