Doesn't the buyer @ 0.88 counter this price? Correct me if I am wrong.

You are not wrong.

However, there are 3 sellers (now 2 sellers, so we have a sale too at 0.88 that took 10 days to sell) and only 1 buyer. All the automated buyers are at 0.77 and the buyer at 0.88 seems to be offline too. 3 sellers vs 1 buyer. With that being said I consider 0.88 to be a better price for this item than 1 ref, since 1 ref is definitely not a commonly traded point anymore.
