Your screenshot doesn't show the time of the trade nor the date and it has been cut. You need to provide a better screenshot.

item history suggests he owned it until yesterday so it sold either yesterday or today. however, a better screenshot would be preferred

You have to provide a proper screenshot.

When you take screenshots of trades for proof you're supposed to leave every detail in the screenshot; not crop it down to the bare minimum. What's to say there's not more items there, what's to say that trade isn't years old? We don't know because you left all the details out.
