While it does look like the first sale was for 35 keys, the item histories do not match.

Sorting his backpack on time it appears that he only received 18 keys for the hat. Also, some keys in the compare link went to Puddilicious. I think that the item histories messed up because I doubt that someone would sell this for 18 keys lol.

if the BO on the third sale was 40, then the sale should be valued at 40 meaning the range should not include 43.

On a side note:

the 35 sale quicksold in one day. As indicated above, the histories and IDs on the keys are weird, but the buyers compare only shows keys leaving his bp:

Since it quicksold anyway, I feel like 40 flat may be better here
