Though I'm pretty sure Modest had its old price (270) at the time of the sale.

In my opinion, there is not enough evidence. In the sale with the Modest the price was 270 keys and not 250 keys. We need to wait for other sales.

This should be seen as quicksell. This site always sells very cheaply. You can not use it, it's not right.

how can it be considered a quicksell when it hasn't even sold at that price for 1.5 months.

I think that low range is too low. A PE neckwear sold at auction much higher than 160 keys even taking into account that some of the pricing of the bid unusuals is out of date https://scrap.tf/auctions/5KADOF Also the auction winners outpost trade to support http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198087957579 . The PE neckwear in the unusual bot appears to have been sold and possibly flipped https://backpack.tf/item/5177359929 suggesting that the 160 may also be on the low side.

Doesn't worry me one way or the other TH3RM4L just saying these recent sales may negate your lower range price. Anyway the pricing mod will make that decision.

I just sold mine to scrap cuz blaze suggestion scurred me 8)

I dont blame you Merp though I must admit that I would have snapped this up out of the scrap auction bot myself at its current price but this suggestion killed any thoughts of that. I can't invest knowing there is a potential drop from its current price in the bot by nearly 50 keys. I'm better to wait rather than to buy.

TO THE PRICING MOD

All I can see is that combining suggestions with the scrap unusual price and adding that quite a few non or irregular traders don't even know this trading section exists, to me, creates an artificial bear market which, in the end, defeats the purpose of pricing at real values. Maybe revisiting backpacks approach to pricing using scrap unusuals might be worthwhile.

This was on scrap.tf for almost 2 months at 157 keys. If we ignored that, this would get priced at 230-250. This hat is clearly not worth 240 if it's sitting there available at 157 for 2 months.

Not saying 160 flat is okay either. But the range is definitely more appropriate.
