IIRC, the age limit for sales is 3 months. That would be anything more recent than January 12th as of today.

Got updated to 4 months, but if there is nothing else using a sale that's a bit older should be fine

Just for clarification. 3 months is the absolute age limit for sales and that's only for rare hats - for items traded around regularly sales in suggestions should be from the last 2 months. The change from 3 to 4 months only refers what is considered an outdated suggestion. For example, the PS gatsby in sale 3 had a suggestion 8 months ago. If the suggestion for the gatsby was 4 months ago, the suggester would not need a mini because it would be considered in-date.

The purpose of the change was just to help reduce the number of minis in a suggestion. All other rules haven't changed.
