The unusual was traded for the new acquired items. The new acquired items add up to just about 29 keys in resale value.
Calculation of value based on highest bp.tf buyers:
Aussie Scattergun (24.5 keys)
Spec KS CAPPER (2.17 keys)
2 MVM Tickets (23.22 refined)
Killer solo taunt (21.55 ref)
pure (14.77 ref)
Total: 26.67 keys + 59.55 ref --> 26 keys + 2.84 keys ~ 29 keys.
I''ll post it here - http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198165448636#!/compare/1492473600/1492646400 - Sold for a Smoking Tartan Spartan (28)
which is where 28 comes from in the range.
Yes, I recognized that's where you got the pricing from- I overlooked putting it in. Thank you for adding this!
I see one sale, but I see a range for some reason.
ikr as much as 28-30 IS ~29, just make it 29 flat ffs

It is also possible to value items based on buying prices and selling prices which would naturally lead to a 2 key discrepancy in this case.
if you're basing on buying prices that would be pricing based off quicksell prices which is wrong, but 28-30 is fine here
In the context here, it was basing the price off of highly liquid buying prices of australiums, tour of duty tickets, and taunts- a completely reasonable place to base the price. If it were for unusuals, I agree the buy price would be wrong. Maybe my economics intuition does not perfectly fit the TF2 economy though- I am still learning the ins and outs. Thanks for the constructive feedback.
