Hello, genuine question here:

Since I am the sole owner of this hat, it means that the hat can only be purchased from me, and me alone; doesn't whatever price I decide to sell this hat at it's ultimate value? For example, if I decide to sell this hat at 30 keys, and no one can get this hat for any lower, doesn't that make the hat 30 keys?

Again, I would like to emphasize that I am not trying to be rude; I simply do not understand the rules regarding the pricing of 1:1 unusuals. It would appear from the above suggestions that suggestions can only be accepted when it is based on previous trades, and that this suggestion was made purely to "set an example" as to the correct way to pose a price suggestion. Please correct me if I am wrong.

We price with sales, not opinions. There are 2 sales, one at 24, one at 25. The aim of this site is to represent the value of items/reporting what items sold for previously. This is a guideline, not a rulebook. If you want to sell it for 30 you can sell it for 30, noone is going to stop you and if you manage to sell it for 30 I will probably have to resuggest at 24-30

It'd be harder to sell it for 30;people are going to go "oh backpack.tf priced it at 24 keys therefore it must be 24 not 30". Makes my life harder lol
