"We do not use scrap.tf as proof. As scrap.tf (for the most part) bases their prices on ours, if suggestions were to be accepted it would just create an infinite loop of price raising/lowering with repeated accepted suggestions.

Not to mention that you're also ignoring the SALES the bot manages to do(which seems to be, [22 refined] each), if using scrap.tf as evidence were to be valid we'd be giving priority to sales over quickbuys.

If we're going to use that argument, every sell listing that scrap.tf makes for every item they sell at a discount is going to be valid(which i'm sure would be, over 100+ cosmetics). And as I said, it will just create an endless loop of price depreciation. Use common sense.

I'm sure another mod has made a more in-depth analysis of why scrap.tf is not to be used as valid evidence for regular item suggestions, however i'm unable to find it. This suggestion is not going to pass."

I don't think that this suggestion is going to be accepted...

I highly doubt that scrap.tf bases their prices on backpack.tf, since most of their prices for both buy and sell orders are nowhere near accurate, and if they do manage to "accidentally" get one of their two prices close enough their stock disappears/fills up within a day. See here: [url]https://scrap.tf/items#pricelist[/url] most items are either empty stock or full; very few have a reasonable balance. I heard somewhere that they use their own pricing algorithms based on their current stock and how many sales/buys they have recently had.

Either way, I see why backpack.tf doesn't like price suggestions based on scrap.tf, especially since they sell lots of items at discounts. However, I don't understand why my 2 sales would not be counted as valid evidence. It shouldn't matter who I sold the items to as long as I did, right? I'm not raising using only scrap.tf's quickbuy price. Please correct me if I'm missing something here.
