I honestly would have chose 2.44 as bots ALWAYS buy those cosmetics for a scrap off (and resell at regular price).
2.44 would mean that he would need proof of sales, in summary: extra work.
you can raise prices with buyers; I believe bots can be used to price a bit above since they buy for less which can still constitute a raise
