Pricing the unpriced!
Request from someone, who kills for free!
Sale 1: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198258728302#!/compare/1492300800/1492387200 - 270 keys
Unsold at 200: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28881503

This is a perfect demonstration of why we're advising not using taunts for pricing right now. The Conga already has a 4-day old seller at 240.
So this is essentially pricing an unpriced hat with just a B/O. Which is invalid, unfortunately.

"In this case I would likely leave it unpriced and wait for it to resell"
-Foamy, on that thing you linked me to
I'm just giving my opinion, I think this is invalid. We'll see.
As polar once said, the 270 sale is an outlier and this needs to wait for sales, i can agree on that. Seems like ill close this once and for all, probably no point in keeping it up.
98% of unusuals are unsold. Making all pricing pretty futile..
This comment makes no sense. At any given time 99.9% of unusuals are on the market because only a tiny fraction are actively in trades - like actually in the trade window. If you mean, 98% of unusuals are still unsold after x amount of time, then you'll need to specify how much time.
At the end of the day, every single item has a price at which it sells for pure in 1 month, 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour. Put it at what its real pure value is and you can sell as fast or slow as you want. People pricing for more than their hat is worth in pure results in hats not getting sold. That can be said of items in real life too....
People still play the game of life though.. ;p
I get your point, and I am sure you get mine.
