Maybe count 70 and 145 as outliers on either end and shorten the range?

Well, 145 is already excluded. So 85-105? 70 didn't seem that far out was all :P

Just seemed more fair. Pretty common practice in statistics that if you call an outlier on one end, you take one point out of the low end too - even if it's really close to other points. Alternatively, if you're comparing two groups, if you take one point out of the high on one group, you could take one point out of the high on the other group.

My stats teacher called it the East German Olympic Figure Skating rule. Makes things more "fair."

We don't always do it in practice here just because sometimes there aren't many data points and if you take two sales out, you're losing a lot of data. But here I think it's pretty safe.
