Seems a little hasty to price something that's one of a kind and only been out for 2 weeks.

So a one of a kind item that's been tradable for exactly one week and has changed hands three times is being priced off the only two trackable trades. That seems really hasty when so many other hats go unpriced for years. I know y'all are very eager to knock down the current owner, but you should have asked that much when you had the chance.

Knock down? You're utterly utterly wrong. I sold it for a 160 key taunt (open suggestion). He resold it for a 180 key hat. He is not being knocked down at all. All we are doing is setting a price on a hat. There are only two trades. The first one was Percula handing it over to me for brokering. There is more than enough evidence for this suggestion.

You sold it for an unpriced taunt you're asking 200 for, when there's a marketplace seller at 125. If anything this price is high. Should wait for more sales or for more to be unboxed than to set a price and set the standard for the future value of the hat.

You do a lot more than 'set a price on a hat' when a suggestion passes, especially ones like this based on a tiny pool of references in a tiny amount of time. As soon as another is unboxed this price will not be accurate.

I know I can't change your mind, being a donator and all, but man, stuff like this is really annoying to see.

1. I sold it for a taunt that I am selling for 200, yes. There is a quickseller at 125. He struggled to sell because it was unpriced. Marketplace.tf is not a great indicator of how often stuff sells, because it doesn't use a proper trading currency. More sales will likely to be around the same price, and anyway, if it does sell before this passes, simply close and re-suggest. Waiting for an unbox is a ridiculous idea, considering they are rare.

2. No, we are literally setting a price on a hat. What else are we doing here...? A tiny pool of references? Two sales for a one of one hat is MORE than enough. Normally it'd be one. Time frame doesn't matter that much. Also, why would another unbox change the price? Sure, it wouldn't be 1o1 o maybe not as much of a collectors item, but could it not sell for a similar amount...?

3. That's just rude. Because I'm a donator I can't have my mind changed? I've closed suggestions before due to people telling me the facts. Your view is not a fact, it is wrong.

That's the best I can tell anyway. That would put the cap at 110 keys. If you take the open suggestion on the peak at 180, then the cap is 180.

Bulk either way

... How is a 2 for 1 bulk when two of the three hats are priced? Isn't that the opposite of bulk?

It's bulk because of the values of each hat. The hat you're pricing shouldn't be 50% or less of the trade's value

That seems like a pretty foolish rule. In what situation does that give more accurate prices?

( I don't actually want to start arguing rules with you because there are so many contradictions and loopholes and personal preference involved it's just disgusting. The sale happened, whether or not it's valid is up to moderation. )

The fact that the peak suggestion gives that sale a potential range where the low possibility is like half the high possibility is a prime example of why such sales should not be used to price one of the small parts of that trade.
