Seller is down to 650 now. http://i.imgur.com/NFYxHKr.png I don't think it's unreasonable to think that this seller is the same one that bought it at 450, especially when the history just shows it going from one marketplace bot straight to another.

Down to USD$500. He is at break even point. The dude really doesn't know how to successfully flip unusuals.

I don't disagree, but how many people are out there that are willing and able to spend 500 real life dollars on a hat in the first place? That handful of people most likely do their research before dropping cash like that, so the only person that would buy it at 500 either truly wants it for theirself or thinks they can get more out of it by reselling, and it would be very difficult to resell for more now that his purchase and his sell price have been recorded. (unless they get a sucker that doesn't do their research)

That the seller at 500 has been referenced and no one has sprung on it yet is very telling. It's also one of the first results when you search for deals on marketplace, showing 70% off.

Marketplace.tf is a great place to sell keys but to sell unusuals for a good price is difficult.Better to trade than to sell with unusuals.

edit: Now watch, both these sales, despite being referenced and easily available for a good while, will both be disregarded because the current owners want to keep the price high, even though the high sales referenced in the original post are all overpriced unusual for overpriced unusual, keeping the prices unobtainable for anyone that isn't already heavily invested.
