Taking 900k
Final Price: 450k-900k
The BoA needs an update, this should be 900 flat. :')
no.
Well, actually yes, but thats unfortunately physically impossible.
well the boa was resold by the buyer from that sale at a BO of 700, so it is definitely not the 1100 ish it would be when using that other sale. The only other sale on the boa was used to raise yet another hat.
This range is, redonk, right?
Like, given Foamy chattering below, has a mod already looked at this and granted special permission? Because otherwise, I am, nooooot sold that one of these sales isn't an outlier.
EDIT: Given that sale 2 is so much crap you're not even listing it and are categorising it as "stuff", doesn't it strike you as high?

Entire conversation in discord under #suggestion-stuff
Also, I just say stuff whenever I feel like not listing everything. It doesn't have much to do with the amount of items or their worth.
It's definitely unfavorable, but as it appears, offers support a range here/say 450 may be low. older buyouts support 900 flat is going to be too high.
Even though Im convinced that the 900 capped sale should realisticly be an outlier, this weird situation may call for such a wild range
Damn, that range.
If you don't believe this caps at 900

^^Minigun mini = 130
Total of 914 + medigun = caps
Total of 914 + medigun AND tiger meet the medic taunt = caps* :)
When the high end double the low end
i think you should wait for a 3rd sale to declare if 450 or 900 is a low or high outlier
Looks like opinion for this is (banana) split down the middle!
common sense is that 900 is an outlier
450 is even high
but you'd have to be high to buy it in the first place
next sale 200-300...bet.
Unlikely as he has already had offers of 450+ It's an very popular hat (even though I personally don't like it) but if he wishes he could sell it for way over 450
It's a elite hat, which like many are one of one. These hats operate on their own terms - and fundamentally speaking the new owner would be crazy to let it go for anything less than what it's truely worth.
I say good luck to whoever wishes to buy it next.
What a ripe affair to be in.
450 seems low. I know I could sell it for more than that.
I will agree that 900 seems high, though.
Why this unconventional big range? Multiple reasons:
If this was unpriced, we would wait for a 3rd sale to determine an outlier and leave it unpriced for the time being, that's not the case however.
If the last accepted suggestion would have been wrong, or the 900 key sale would have happened a couple days before it was accepted then we won't have this issue either, however the last accepted suggestion was perfectly fine at the time and thats why it has been accepted. I dont believe reverting a suggestion afterwards cause of a new sale is a thing we should do, suggestions are only reverted if an error happens.
So that leaves us with 2 valid sales, one is arguably low, the other one is arguably very high. One argument to call the higher sale an outlier is the history of this hat, it was always sold for around 500 keys for the longest time, and one sale at 900 keys seems like an outlier at that. One argument to call the lower sale an outlier are recent received offers, many of which are clearly above 450 keys. I would say those arguments end up in a tie.
So the only thing that was left was to report those 2 sales as they are, with a huge range. The new average price will be 675 keys, which is in the range of some of the received offers, so not totally unreasonable. This is an extraordinary situation and that's why I will accept this suggestion, when I usually would not. Please don't use this suggestion as excuse for super large ranges, unless it matches the situation here vastly. I rather have an outdated price than a huge range, but this won't be outdated for another 2 months.
