Yeah, closed without reason. Item sales aint considered quicksell, as you and many others has told me before.
Except when specific evidence of downgrading into easier-to-sell items is provided by both the buyer and the seller, as it was there.
My main concern here actually isnt even the "quicksale" nature, but the fact that those Dlores have tf2-sales all over the place, but that does not seem to be an issue according to the comment section.
This is why I prefer to avoid the term "quicksale" as a whole, as it is a difficult to depict concept with various opinions on what exactly counts as a quicksale.
A few common misconceptions that I see in the comment section cleared up:
- "if something sold for items it cant be a quicksale"
This is not true. its less clear, but in many cases, items are sold/downgraded to items easier to sell for pure. Sales like those are equally likely to be low outliers as "quicksales" for pure
- "Australiums are considered pure, other items are not"
While aussies are easier to convert to pure, they are not pure. One can count them as pure at buyer's price, but you can basicly do the same with every item, including other unusuals, pans, promos or csgo rifles/knives.
- "If I overpay for an item and then quicksell my new items, did I quicksell both?"
This is actually a fair assessment of how such a case should be treated. If you want quick pure, your easiest and best bet is to offer it on items easy to convert to pure that are of lower value, to then convert those to pure instantly. It makes it clear that trades as such are meant to convert your items to quick pure. As indicated above, such sales are usually done with pans, or on lower scales in aussies, maxes, buds and bills etc, but it is clear the Dlore functioned as such.
Given the above, I understand the issues brought up here.
Okay, so would you say this suggestion is valid or not? ^^
Would proof of a declined offer of greater than 1300 do the job, i will have to check past trade offer but am quite sure i had 2-3 from stavo, loafer before he got the dlore and swag that exceeded this but i wanted pure so i declined. These offers were withing a week of getting it,i think i sold it in a bit more than that which is great for something so expensive considering i wanted only pure or items i could qs for equivalent pure easily.
here was one http://imgur.com/a/1uY5b - scorching boxcar + c'hearts ke + o'fire dco + energy orb night terror scatter + cps piith, I have phone logs that we later negotiated to D@D polar + hearts ke + green bats gibus + ether prehistoric+ o fire dco , then i was offered a duped scorching tc + the d@d polar also, then he offered a clean cloudy tc + infernal conga + screaming hifive + unu scatter - Pls check the values but that that point they were 1400-1650 according to bp.tf)
will provide phone logs only if necessary(effort :P)
Hmm, Fair enough! But il still keep this open a little longer, but idk, I might close this tomarrow
why is this still open?
It was a quicksale, as it was clarified on my suggestion
Its not a quicksell if it sells for items. Only pure sales can be considered qs
As Appy, the person who sold it to loafer said on my suggestion I already made, 'i quicksold it to loafer, got 780 csgo keys from the dlore in 2-3 hrs, KE was more cos we just needed something to make up the difference :P'
But then he quicksold the awp, not the unususal ^^
http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198157279796#!/compare/1496707200/1496880000
probably a cash purchase of the KE, meaning it more than likely was a quicksale if the dlore was quicksold instantly, and then the KE took a tiny bit longer to qs
so if I overpay for an item and then requicksells my new item, do I quicksell both items? Or what? :')
the awp is practically cs pure, and there was no more entire pure for it, so the KE was being added to quicksell; the intention of the trade was quicksale
Doesnt count as quicksell. Item trades =/= quicksells, aka can be used to price with
But that'd be like saying a pan couldn't be counted as pure, but it's such a substantial amount of pure that an item has to represent it, and it's the pure + sweets(which would be quicksold)
Australiums are considered pure, other items are not.
well there are no australiums in csgo, so the dlore is basically pure
Its not, then all cs items would be considered pure, because they can sell for pure, but it aint like that
not all cs items can be considered pure, katos, blue gems are quite hard to sell .But high tier stuff like dlore, howl,ak fs which are in demand have people buying at 10-15 key slower than the lowest seller on reddit. Also i "quicksold" the dlore of 780 pure in 2-3 hrs and the lowest seller on reddit was at 795 keys soo yeah.
Yes, but don't say it out loud..you get ---negs
I mean... appy wanted to 1:1 with a Pan... I literally see no reason ppl keep trying to bring the 1355 sale up, he wasnt even trying to get 1700-ish, he just wanted to get keys, asap and he did, simply with a different method.
Well true. But as he wasnt trying to get ~1700 and wanted as low as a g pan ~1150, this suggestion should be valid right?
Wanting keys asap is the absolute definition of quicksell.
Yeah I know, Ive been a victim of simular situtaions, where the suggestion passed tho.
Dont ask me, why they passed. :P
I didnt ;) I just feel like this aint really a qs :3 As it was the items he got for this item that he quicksold, which doesnt really make sense to not update this with.. :3 Anyways, Il leave this open for now ^^
I wouldn't price the D-Lore off of the SteamAnalyst price alone. Float value can have a HUGE impact on the value of said item.
Thats true, Dont think it had a special FV tho
Doesn't counteract the fact that this sale isn't valid.
I was exiting a drop sooner or later
