If this re-sells, I'll re-suggest.
Dodging an inaccurate suggestion?
The miami nights fortunate son which is being used to price this item is being regarded to the value of 27 keys. However the suggestion of 27 keys is both inaccurate as the only recent sale for the miami nights fortunate son was a quicksale, which can't be used to price unusuals. https://prnt.sc/fopzyh - proof of quicksale / reduced price.
Furthermore the only recorded sales for this item are at 140 (outdated) https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198091266204#!/compare/1486944000/1487030400 , 120 (outdated) https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198019370873#!/compare/1484524800/1484784000. The only recent sale for this item is at 75 keys https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198051511947#!/compare/1497312000/1497398400.
As there is absolutely no proof of sales (recent or old) at 62 keys combined with the use of an item which received a price suggestion based on a quicksell, proves that the suggested amount is inaccurate and not a real representation of the item's value.
The sale at 27 took a week to sell, which isn't a quicksell.
Well when I send the trade offer it the message in classifieds was "Quickselling 28 keys or unutsual offers at full price". I also included a screenshot showing his advertisement on outpost at 28 keys. https://prnt.sc/fopzyh. The Australium scattergun was counted as pure (26) and a small number of items were added to increase the amount to the sellers price. I have provided screenshots as proof of the quicksell price of 28 keys in pure, https://prnt.sc/fopzyh.
I know he was selling at 28 lmao. His trade is listed in my Miami Fortunate suggestion.
Since the sale took 1 Week, and this Unusual isn't worth that much, this sale is not a quicksale.
2nd time repeating myself! :). The trade was advertised as a Quicksell with the pure price of 28 keys, or an unusual price of 35 keys! Meaning (like all normal traders) he was willing to accept slightly less than the value in pure, or the same value in unusuals. As the scattergun was counted as pure (26) + 1.5 key in items, he was happy to sell for a discount as he was receiving majority of pure. However if i was paying in unusuals I would have been required to trade a 35 key unusual or more to receive the item. Let me know if you have difficulty understanding!
2nd time repeating myself! Quicksell implies it sold quickly, which it didn't! Suggestions measure the pure value of items, so if he wanted 28 Pure, then 28 Pure is a fine price. Let me know if you have difficulty understanding!
Well the advertiser advertised it as quicksell price. It was a third gen which sold above quicksell price in majority pure within 7 days. He may not have been advertising it as a quicksell for all 7 days. Perhaps normal price for 6 days and quicksell price for 1 day. But 3rd time repeating it was advertised as a quicksell which was why paid his quicksell price. I'm sure the seller wouldn't have an issue with you contacting him to clarify him quickselling the price. https://steamcommunity.com/id/DeliciousCashew/ That is his steam profile. Which i'm sure as the diligent pricer you are, you'd hate to lose points in your competition for inaccuracy, so I'm sure you won't have a problem with messaging him and seeking clarification!

Took a week, not a quicksell.
Yeah which is cool and all, but a quicksell is selling an item for less than it's bp.tf value in pure, and that's exactly what happened here. So what did the seller say? Because I'm sure you contacted him to clarify that he advertised it as a quicksale and sold it as a quicksale in pure.

It was a 35 key hat that sold for 27.5 after a week. 1 Week. He didn't spend Month's trying to sell the hat for that price as your forum suggets. The forum also stated "Time is only ONE factor used to determine a quicksell. If a hat sells within 1-2 days for its b/o in pure, one should be suspicious." Time is only one factor. It took just 1 week to sell. The sale occured over 2 months ago. No other useable sales for the hat have been used as proof. If it had taken 2 months to sell at 28 keys then a price decrease would have merit. But a quicksale at 22% off after 1 week of being listed still fits in all rules of the quicksell. Your forum also states "More important is how a sale relates to other sales. If a hat sells for less or around quickbuyer prices in pure or unusuals or for less than common trade points, that is likely a quicksell". Evidently this hat in question sold for around the quickbuyer price in pure as evident through the scattergun + items, further proving it to be a quicksell.
At the time of sale Miami nights fortunate son 35 keys + 15 keys + 19 in items (batsaber and scattergun) + x2 bustchesters which were 3.2 keys at time of sale.

Sale 1) Sold With Blizzardy Storm Das Uberstanmann (35) + Circling TF Logo Lord Cockswain's Pith Helmet (18) + Blizzardy Storm Furious Fukaamigasa (17) + Unpriced Fortunate son = Circling heart Modest pile of hats (195) at time of sale. Therefore 195 - (17 + 18 + 35) Shows that the unpriced fortunate son was regarded around the value of 120 keys

Sale 2) Pool Party (At time of sale) (270) - 90 (kabuto) (at time of sale) - 35 (ubersternmann) - 5 keys in sweets. Shows that during this sale the price of that hat was regarded in the rough region of 140.
Both previous sale of well above 100 keys although slightly outdated represent a much higher and accurate value than the current price suggestion of 62.
Those are too old to use. Only sales within the past 3 months (preferrably 2) are usable to set a price.
Why is it being suggested at 62 if it has never been sold for less than 70?
This was the only recent sale when I made the suggestion.
Nobody can know when every sale occurs, so some like those 2 are missed when they happen.
Even so it's been sold at 140, 120, and 75ish. No sales at 62 ever. Perhaps best to make a new and accurate suggestions when there are future sales.
It sold for that 4-5 Months ago. Suggestions are meant to show what the item's value is at the time the suggestion is made.
The value's accuracy is measured out to 3 Months.
62 is inaccurate suggestion as there have never been sales at or around 62. Perhaps wait for more sales so a clear and accurate price can actually be determined.
