At least the 2 of them that exist can be counted as value to the backpacks (mine of which is one) they are in, that's a plus.

You can't get -reps from bad price suggestions. You will lose reputation points, but that isn't getting -reps.

Also, your two price suggestions for the hat were doomed to fail anyways. There is a rule on unusual price suggestions to round to the nearest whole number.
